His friends at UW were surprised. Why become a chiropractor if you could become any other kind of doctor instead? The answer was his father, who spent over two years in pain through multiple failed therapies and a back surgery, then went to a chiropractor against his other doctors' advice. In under two months he was largely out of pain, and at 61 he was back to working on cars and shooting hoops with his son.
Dr. Joepeck started at UW-Madison with a Bachelor of Science covering biochemistry, anatomy, neurology, nutrition, exercise and fitness, then spent four years at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic.
He earned that degree in 2001 and moved to the Milwaukee area, and he has kept studying since: whiplash, work injuries, exercise and fitness, nutrition, optimal health and wellness, low-force adjusting techniques and healthy lifestyle modification counseling.

“Dr. Joepeck has completely changed my life. I was in a horrible car accident several years ago and suffered years of back and neck pain with debilitating headaches. Within the first three months of care the pain disappeared and I enjoyed a full night's sleep. I am now pain free, and have not had the use for my pain medications since.”
“Prior to my introduction to Dr. Joepeck I could hardly use a curling iron, I experienced such pain in my right shoulder. I had tried everything for over two years with little or no success. This past weekend I could not only use a curling iron, I helped my husband paint a shed. I am 65 and nine years older than my husband, and I kept up with him!”
“My quality of life has improved tremendously due to Dr. Joepeck's skills and treatment. Because of advice regarding my nutrition, supplements and exercise, my blood pressure improved enough for me to eliminate one of my prescriptions. He is a physician who listens and makes patients feel as if we have a second supportive family.”
“Today, I am noticing considerable improvement in my overall movement, less stiffness, better sleep, and more energy and vitality. Got on the treadmill early this morning. Amazed at my stamina and lack of pain.”
“Before I met Dr. Joepeck I thought minor aches and pains were just a normal part of getting older. I am experiencing wonderful results and I am now convinced that pain free living is possible. My wife and our three children also see Dr. Joepeck and we are all experiencing what a difference chiropractic care can make.”
Some paperwork, then a physical examination and any x-rays needed to find the cause of the pain. We discuss your condition and your goals, look at the results together, and agree a plan of action specifically for you.
